On an immediate level, encouraging professional development among your employees will reap enormous benefits for your business. Whether its a class on social media management, a photoshop tutorial, or a programming workshop, any steps you take to facilitate new skill development among your employees will add immediate value to your company. Equally as important is the fact that doing so fosters a company culture that encourages entrepreneurship and innovation. While this is less visible than the former, it shows that the company views the professional development of its employees as important as the development of its business.
